How to use

Please see for details how to get started and configure this photomode mod, General features and configuration. This guide will provide additional information for the controls / features specific for this photomode mod.

Info

If you don't see the NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139.exe process in the Process to inject to textbox, please click the Select button to select it manually. Additionally, if you're running the game as Administrator and the IGCSClient.exe does not, it can't see the NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139.exe process. In that case, restart the IGCSClient.exe as Administrator.

HUD Toggle installation

The HUD toggle built into the tools toggle basic HUD elements like health counter and minimap, but not additional elements nor the semi-transparent bars overlay in cutscenes or the dof. To do that install the included NierReplicant HUD toggle from the NierReplicantHUDToggle_100.zip: unpack the zip in a folder and copy the contained files in the Nier replicant game folder, which is usually the <steam installation>\steamapps\common\NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 folder.

After starting the game, you can toggle the hud elements with CAPS LOCK. You can toggle the bloom/haze in the game with Page Up. The tools built-in toggle for the basic hud elements is by default bound to Del.

Ultrawide monitor support

I couldn't find a way to dynamically resize the screen resolution. So you need to use NVidia DSR for higher resolutions than your monitor if you want to take high-res screenshots.

This game shows problematic flickering bars on both sides on an ultra-wide monitor. To fix this, please follow this guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/widescreengamingforum/comments/mz0jpo/nier_replicant_sqrt15_proper_resolution_aspect/

To help you with hex values, please use: https://www.wsgf.org/article/common-hex-values and https://gregstoll.com/~gregstoll/floattohex/

The float to hex editor allows you to calculate the bytes for the second part you need to adjust. E.g. 3840.0 will become 0x45700000 which is in bytes 00 00 70 45. The reddit thread above has bytes for 21:9.

Environment Adjustments

The Environment Adjustments tab is the tab where you can adjust additional features which affect the game world. For Nier Replicant it allows you to control the following:

Game speed
This controls how fast the runs internally; a value of 1.0 is 'normal game speed' and a value of 0.0 is total pause. Use this to create slow-motion effects which help you pause the game at the right moment.

Information recorded with camera path nodes

When you create a Camera path, each node records the camera location, orientation and field of view.

The default photomode mod controls are listed below. It depends on the Camera control device setting on the Configuration tab whether the device (e.g. mouse or gamepad) can control the camera.
